Carson has left the Lib plantation...kinda like letting one cow in a nervous herd get her head through the gate! 
And even it that cow gets free, and prospers in front of the rest...guess what. The captive herd will envy and hate the free cow...for it's freedom.
And of course, Carson will hang the dead albatross of the systematic genocide of the Black family and murderous heathen sub-culture squarely where it rests...around the necks of the Progressive policy and their PC attempt to dodge blame.
If I had to choose right now...it would be Carson. He's smart enough to pick folk who'd fill in his knowledge gaps. And honest and simple enough to win the hearts of the common folk.
Common Core is an attempt to get the Federal Government in control of WHAT is taught in schools. Just like the IRS, DOJ, NSA, VA, et al...give em' power, and they will lie and abuse it.

What is interesting is that that Carson seems to enjoy the support of LABI while the resident presidential candidate draws their ire.
LABI has supported Jindal forever and now they invite his potential opponents to their annual meeting. Just saying. Who in the state does support the Governor?

He's an independent not a republican. He grew Up in inner-city Detroit and overcame tons of obstacles to achieve the American Dream.
I like him because he's smart, educated yet speaks with common sense. He's not part of the established political machine.
