The most interesting thing about these threads is how people have chosen sides in a conflict that has nothing to do with us, doesn't benefit us one way or the other. The mental gymnastics some people go through to excuse the death of these children is telling.

I am Jewish and stand with Israel. I have visited and have friends in the IDF. Any of yall on here can ask me anything if you would like to try and get the perspective of someone who has actually been there (as recently as one month ago), and I will do my best to answer.
Just stop. You're embarrassing yourself and anyone who stands with Israel on this issue. But, thank you for your support.

I don't know that it's a "mistake", C...but it will likely end up being DEFINITIVE.
The whole World should consider anteing up and just BUYING OUT the Palestinians; we'd come out a lot cheaper in the long run. Indians and Mexicans too...if they ever decide to strap bombs on their kids and go rogue.

Your not being able to rationalize the difference is very telling of our educational sysytems lack of a reasoned thought process, everything in school is now only agenda driven indoctrination.

As a follower of Judaism, as well as a Zionist - I have a question or two (from a Christian son of a Palestinian/Israeli Arab with many relatives still living in the Holy Land):
* I recognize Israel as the homeland for the Jewish people, but also the homeland for the native Christian, Muslim, and people of other faiths. We can trace my family to the Galilee since the time of King David. Maacah and Absolom are in my family bloodlines. Would you say my family has the right to live in Israel with full rights?
* The Palestinians who fled the war of Independence (Nakba) in 1948 were not permitted to return to their homes. Do you think it is fair that all of these people can not return to their homes, and if so - how do you justify that?
* If I, as the son of a Palestinian Christian, can recognize the Jewish connection to the Holy Land - could you recognize the Palestinian connection? Do you think the Holy Land could survive (as it once did before) as a true Democratic state with equal rights for Jew, Christian, and Muslim?
