Current #1 at GStone. Opening hole, and a hard driving hole. Ditch on the left, the ditch on the right creeps in the farther you hit the ball. So if you lay back, you now have a two tired green where your dead long, and a ditch crossing to the right of the green. I played it better when it was #10. Just hate it as a starting hole.

I'm struggling to think of a more challenging starting hole. Maybe when The Bluffs had the current number 10 as number 1.

No doubt, that hole is a monster. If you par that one starting off you gotta feel good about the rest of the day.

Forgot about BC #12.

It kicks my arse every time. Tee shot doesn't fit my eye and fairway is as wide as a bowling alley.

I find #12 much harder than #5 at BC.

Well it won't be the opening hole soon enough.

I hit 3w 7i to just short of the green yesterday. Felt really happy after my up and down par

CCL #8 because of the tree down the hill and the green like 12 at AUGN
Island #11 beast of a tee shot
UC #18 that play over 500yds
SM #5 got to hit it on a dime

All good choices, I'm going with:
1- GS #1- bad mutha fricker. Can't go left, in canal. Long right, in the tree monster. Even if you go long down the middle you end up with an uneven lie to approach a green with water. And oh yeah let's make it the opening hole.
2- SM #5- like the rest of y'all I hate this one. It's a par 3. I should be able to roll something up there and get up and down. But somehow that damn canal right finds a way to reach out and grab my ball. Sneaky how close to the green it is.
3- LSU #18- I don't get why this one is so hard. Nothing there to cost you a stroke. It's straight. But sure enough trees on right get in the way, or I approach long and end up in the damn ditch. Aggravating to say the least.

I don't think it's the golf course that's killing anyone in that neighborhood.

2/10?

I'd have to go with GS#1. You can lose that hole off the tee, second shot, or even 3 putt it.

Retro back to the old City Park layout. #5 over the canal was the hardest driving hole, especially after the big oak tree by the road grew out over the fairway. Tee shot had to be right in the middle or you were completely blocked out.

For me it's #11 at the Island, but that's really the only course I play these days
