I wish you guys could play with one of our baws. This guy is my height and played baseball at tamu. 20 bombs one year. He rapes the freaking ball. 4hundo a couple of times and hits a hybrid 270. This guy will make you cap drawers.

Stand next to your cart and put your heels about a foot away from the side and just practice your takeaway so that the shaft kinda hovers at the same angle of the roof of the cart then hit a couple trying to simulate that takeaway. Pretty quick amd easy fix.

Da fuq? I'm having a hard time picturing this.

Yeah? I could do whenever is good and weather is good. Closed Tuesday mornings, but we should be good to go any other morning. Never too crowded in the summer.

Could do the Wednesday double feature and go take on the Links tournament in the afternoon.

Taking a 4 or 5 on most par 5s has been a big part of improving my game. Making smart layups and going for it when I can.

Trying to simulate what this is showing would be my guess. Take slow takeaways without letting the club hit or come too close to the roof (or box in the picture).

I though you might after I typed it.

Most carts have an angled edge on the roof. A slope if you will. That's about the same angle the shaft needs to be at the top of your backswing.

You can see it pretty well on this one.

So if you were in this picture you'd be able to see your face doing the drill. If you're standing about a foot off of it and try to do your normal swing you'd probably hit the black bracket that holds the roof up coming too far inside. Take it back steeper and try to just hover it on the natural angle of the roof.

Hope that helps.

If you blink, you miss my swing... I have a VERY fast tempo... Have tried slowing my swing down. but that feels like shite.

Could be a factor. There's usually not just one thing going on because your body automatically compensates for one screw up with another. Silly game it is.
