There will be lots of squad rotation and also tactical options for subs. That's for certain.
Being able to bring on a sterling, swag, etc at the 65 minute mark is a big asset. As long as they are all ok starting 30-35 games a year and not 45

Is it a loan or long term deal?

From DiMarzio (google translate)
Not sure where the after tax thing is coming from, word is he was on 60k a week at AC Milan..
Not bad, considering Man U is paying Nani 120k a week to play in Portugal
quote:
Future more and more Reds for Mario Balotelli. The agreement between AC Milan and Liverpool have already been achieved, there is no agreement between the English club and the player. But the parties negotiate to reach agreement. Liverpool have already presented the first economic offer, 5.8 million euro per season, 90 thousand pounds per week. Key figures, which more closely approximate Balotelli to Liverpool. The Premier in fate, waiting for the last yes.

Reminds me of that scene in Moneyball.

There are some rumblings that Insigne is unhappy at Napoli and we are interested.. Napoli are interested in Agger and Lucas...
Also, if Mario comes off, we have a net spend of about £35mm in this window so far...

They need to hurry up and announce this so I can go on and order my Swag third kit
But really though, I've been giddy about this since the rumors first popped up around the Milan friendly. He has all the talent in the world, and I honestly believe he'll thrive in our system. Cou, Stevie, and Raheem will find him the ball and if he and Studge play together, they each should find opportunities since it's not really an option to focus your attention on one or the other.
When he's on his game, Mario is a fricking manchild and a physical presence that I think would really contrast with more of the finesse that Studge plays with. Not to mention he's got the ability to create goals out of nothing, can take free kicks, and has enough pace to not slow down our counter-attack game.
I think that he gets way more shite than he deserves. Some people make him out to be a lazy POS that is apathetic, but to me it seems more like that he just hates losing and gets frustrated like most other players when things don't go well. It doesn't help that he has to deal with the whole racism thing non-stop as well as the fact that his team was complete shite, and he looked like he was the only one who gave a shite on multiple occasions. I think that some people forget that when Suarez got frustrated, he literally started bitching about everything and went to ground much, much easier. Granted, a stark difference was that Luis still kept running, whereas Mario did not. Just something to think about.
Anyways, with all of that said, I'm pumped as hell and hopefully this be announced soon so I can rest a little easier. After the Remy thing, I've been a bit on edge with every transfer since then
Edit: Run-ons/comma splices everywhere... probably. Oh well, DGAF, I'm not an English major

From Gianluca Di Marzio
quote:
The meeting between Liverpool’s executives and the agents of Balotelli Mino Raiola and Vittorio Rigo just ended. It was positive, the parties scheduled another summit for tomorrow morning to settle the final missing details. Tomorrow will be the decisive day, the negotiation is proceeding quickly, only few aspects need to be addressed and then Balotelli will join Liverpool.

Already have plans for a Sterling away kit, and I finally need to get around to getting a Stevie home kit. The one jersey I do have is like 7 years old and doesn't have a name on it.

Will be hard not to get a Mario 3rd kit

Sounds like my story. I finally added GERRARD 8 to my 2007 home shirt with champions league typeset and patches. I spent about $50 on the letters and patches on ebay. I also bought this year's Gerrard home (EPL typeset and patches), and have been planning on getting either the yellow shirt or the gray one with Sterling. Leaning towards Sterling 3rd with CL stuff.

I'm still a soccer tyro, and when I attended the match in Charlotte earlier this year I was a sho-nuff neophyte. But even my untrained eye picked out Balotelli (who I didn't know from Adam then) as perhaps the best player on the pitch. I remember idly wishing that Liverpool would take a look at him, but sitting in the stands it seemed like little more than a pipe dream. Now... well, life is strange. Definitely hope we can keep him focused, but if we can, the sky is the absolute limit with him in the squad.

Did everyone see the video of Ballo refusing to answer the question at the presser from the reporter at the Sun?
He's going to fit in perfectly.
