Ross and Rachel infuriate me to no end. I've never found Anniston attractive purely because I can't look at her without thinking of how annoying Rachel is on the show.

Rachel was a complete POS as a person. When I think of Jennifer Aniston on Friends, I think self-absorbed character and nipples.

Well this thread got crappy pretty quick.
Friends is far from overrated. It's rarely listed as something that's "great," just "successful." Which it was. Immensely successful.
It was also solid for what it was. And Ross was a great character, second only to Chandler.
It ran for 10 years, so of course it's going to have some terrible episodes.

Biggest issue I had with Friends is after a year at most, I don't think the other five would willingly hang out with Phoebe. I don't think she would really want to hang out with them either. Seems like a huge personality/lifestyle clash.

Fat, stupid, clumsy, goofy husband who can never do anything right but has good intentions.. hot, naggy, bitch wife who has to take care of him because he's so stupid.
(Everybody Loves Raymond, King of Queens, etc.)
It's sexist to both men and women, and it's not funny or realistic at all.
