Frank Sinatra station is great if you are having some folks over for a classy get together. It's just great overall, actually.

My favorites that I have made were/are:
Baker Street(Foo Fighters cover)
plays me some good alternative rock that I have either not ever heard or hear rarely.
Miles Davis Radio... added some variety to mix with it and now it plays some Santana style jazz rock along with some very spacey jazz
SRV station- blues man!!!!
QOTSA with so much added variety. This station plays me a wide variety of stoner rock and very bluesy spaced out rock. LOVE IT

Create the Sheepdog's radio and add Stevie Wonder, Patrick Sweany, Moses and the First Born, Johnny Cash, FM Belfast, and Sha Na Na.
Just sayin

Mother Love Bone - grunge heaven...can't beat it
Old Crow Medicine Show + Ryan Bingham & the Dead Horses - Red Dirt/TX Country & bluegrass, an explosive combination

Been listening to the Traveling Wilbury's station today and it has been very good so far. Also been listening to ELO and of course it is good.

Try the Jason Boland and The Stragglers station
I also listen to the 311 station, but it gets pretty repetitive after an hour or two

a station that I really like is "Mike Ness".
He is the lead singer of the band Social Distortion. His solo work is a bit more electric country rock with a nice major key tone, so the station plays not only his solo work, but also bands like Flogging Molly, Bad Religion, Waylon Jennings, Johnny Cash, Rancid, Reverend Horton Heat, Social Distortion...but without some of the "punk" type songs that some of these bands are associated with
Anyway, it makes for a good station while driving.

Why dont you just build your own station where you select all of the songs you want to play on your own personal station?

Yeah. I've said this before in every one of these type of threads for Pandora, but you get the best results if you customize your station and add all your favorite artists. If you create a station based on 1 artist or song, you don't get much variety in what you are listening to.
