That is more convenient. In terms of accumulating points, are both of these fairly even or is there a noticeable difference one way or the other? I see Venture card offers 2x miles per dollar while CSP offers 1 point per dollar, but is there a something I'm missing here.

The upfront bonus is nicer on the CSP. I use the American Express PRG card mostly because it's 3X airline tickets and 2X gas and groceries. That said, I'm using Chase Freedom right now for gas because this quarter it's 5X points for gas up to $1500 spent in the quarter.

Venture offers 2xs on the upgraded card that has a yearly fee... CSP offers 1pt on every dollar and double pts on dining/food/grocery if I remember right.

The main thing a lot of people miss is that a 1pt from Capital One does not equal a "point" from Chase which does not equal a "point" from Amex and so on.
