I'd still go with the Epic. Too good of a deal for the price before they end up going up where the rest of these boats are...

This, Plus they are WET! Fished on one several times and can't fathom paying that much for a boat and getting a wet arse anytime you have a slight crosswind in chop. Not a fan of the T-top either, its enormous and takes up almost half of the deck space not allowing you to cast. I'm not a fan of T-top on any bay boat though so I'm a little biased.

Did I mention that they are WET??!

Ever heard about Gause Built Boats?

Saw one down in Venice a month ago and fell in love. Absolutely beautiful boats.

Guys, thoughts on Key West?

Looking at a 2014 230 Bay Reef. Comes with t-top, yammy 250 sho, trolling motor, jack plate.

Des not include power pole and GPS, which we would add.

Price was around 52k.

Take a look at the Tidewater line of boats. I would say they're not quite as flashy or upscale as your Contenders, Yellowfins, etc. out there, but they are fine boats. I actually fished out of one last week and was very impressed.

Just as good as a Nautic Star, Blue Wave, or Blazer Bay IMO. Nice boats. There is a 2011 24' Key West for sale on LA sportsman right now...was a charter captains boat based out of Houma. Think it has a Yamaha 250 with a little over 500 hours on it and he's asking between $30 and $40k...has a power pole but no t top.

I second that, I own the Tidewater 18' baymax. It's a great little boat, I ask a lot of it (as far as versatility goes) and it continues to provide.

Lemme know if there are any questions.

As far as the Key West goes, they are great boats (Key West actually owns a portion of Tidewater...coincidentally...they were made out of the same factory at one point...not now though).
They've been around for a long time and make a quality boat. They couple I've been on have been dry, nice rides (granted, we were marsh fishing).

I'm not sure about the price, since I haven't priced them out in that size.
I certainly wouldn't worry about the quality of that boat.

Thatd be capt josh ellenders boat. Pretty sweet boat. Wouldnt pay more than 32 for a guide boat though. Lot of hours on that motor but guaranteed he took good care of it.

I've only ever been in one Sundance and it was a late 90s model, maybe 20', stripped out similar to a Kenner. Was a nice boat for what it was. That seems like a good deal for a 23' boat. Most 23' would have a 250, but a 200 should be plenty of power too.

ETA: Here is your catch on that Sundance:
