I don't think so. Maybe situationally, but I'm not sure what situation you would need both Asik and Anderson.

Well, possession are at a premium at the end of games. We need a rim protector on defense (Asik), and a 3 point threat on offense( Ryan). I say we should trade Ryan for someone who can stay with SF's and be a legit outside shooter.

Offense/defense sub. Or maybe play some funky amoeba zone action to get them all on the court.

I want to see how these 3 bigs play together. IMO it is the best 3 man big rotation in the league if Anderson is his old self. I do think Anderson gets dealt when it comes time to re-sign Asik next summer.

I get it, but what happens when there are 3 or 4 possessions between time outs. Monty hates calling time outs at the end of games. He'll be forced to draw up a play. You know how much faith I have in him atos. I just don't think that strategy would work for the long term.

Monty is no Dale Brown. [

a team that requires an ace 3-point shooter at lead guard isn't likely to value Kyle Lowry as highly as Jrue Holiday. It's all relative.

This makes no sense. Lowry drains 3's.

the team gave up a #6 (Nerlens Noel) and #10 (Dario Saric?) for his services.

Why does no one seem to realize that we would have had (more likely than not) a higher draft pick than #10?

Without Holiday we would have been worse off because Noel didn't play a game. You can't just assume we would have gotten a FA like millsap.

The trade might be over and I hate to be negative but the fact is...this trade will haunt us for years to come. We overvalued Jrue bc of his age and his all star appearance. Im not hating on Jrue at all. I think he is a good NBA point guard. Just wasn't worth giving up Noel (a gift at #6)and this years 1st round pick.

With ADs improvement and assuming they would've still gotten tyreke(or another FA) yes they would've been around that mark. You forget that top 10 players win on their own.

They would've likely kept vasquez/lopez as well. Do you realize how many ahead tanked? It would've been nigh impossible to be higher.

I hope you understand if they kept the pick they would've likely took MCW or Burke. Philly told us to pick noel for the trade.

Saric(who demps likes) wouldn't be in the NBA for 2-3 years.

Jrue is only 1 year older than most of the rookies from the last 2 years.

You're just beating a dead horse now.

That's a huge assumption. We also probably wouldn't have had to move Rolo to make room for Tyreke, so we have less of a hole in the paint. That became a lot more valuable when we lost Anderson.

Still, it's doubtful we would have ended up with a top 3 pick and the draft wasn't that great past that point.
