I consider myself a republican who is socially liberal and I've always wondered about these people who spout moral values and "traditional family values" but don't understand that if a kid with 2 doctors as parents (one who is also a politician) is still getting knocked up then the girl from a POS neighborhood with zero positive influences is probably going to get knocked up by a bunch of guys. Heck I knew 4 girls in HS that got pregnant and all 4 of them had abortions. They were all wealthy, most likely wealthier than this guy and had access to b/c. Yet we continue to demonize these other people. I'm probably still going to vote for him but hypocrites man. That's why we keep losing in places like Nova, NY suburbs, Main Line Pa etc.

Honestly, the mere fact of the kid getting pregnant shouldn't matter in terms of the election. But it is news and it would be disingenuous to not report it.

I'm sure there are many facts that can be reported. But are they all relevant news?
Hell, I bet there are plenty on teenage girls who got knocked up recently that didn't warrant a story. Kids are supposed to be off-limits...right?
