We'll stop the run with numbers like Chavis always does
They are entirely to one dimensional on offense to give us much trouble
We have a decided talent advantage everywhere,Wisconsin is basically Iowa without a top ten defense

and their starting QB.

I'm pretty sure they are still figuring this out. Stave got hurt in bowl. Missed spring. They have more holes to fill than us. I'll take les miles in an opener.

Let's remember the Badger's spring game score: 6-0. That Badger defense, the one that's replacing it's entire front seven, had no trouble stopping the run.

Yes, two Wisconsin starting OL sat out the spring game with injuries. What does that say about Wisconsin's depth at OL? Against a young defense?

LSU will win big.

I dont think either QB for either team will see much success throwing the ball this game. Our QB will be green (either way) going against an experienced secondary and their QB simply wont be good enough to exploit our secondary with White/Robinson/Collins locking down their receivers. Especially since they lose Abbrederis and Pederson and their next best returning receiver had 9 or 10 catches last season.

This game will be all about which OL abuses the other teams DL/LBs more and which RBs make more plays than the other. Both teams IMO have a sizable advantage in the run game over the opposing defense.

Their backup, Clement, is really good too. Played against him in high school.

I think the key is our DT's. If they show up and create havoc we have no worries. If they get pushed back into the LBers we could have a long night. However, I don't think that happens. We are unproven but deep at DT. I think Bain and Gilmore will provide quality depth like QT and CL did last season. Also I think we are deeper at RB and we punish that arse with the 3 headed monster of Magee, Fournette, and Hilliard.

I think you're underestimating their OL.

Wisconsin constantly produces big, mean, NASTY Olinemen. They are going to have a 4th year junior, 3 5th year seniors and a 3rd year sophomore on their OL, all with some good to amazing experience. Their interior OL measures 6'6 322, 6'4 313 and 6'4 315 and they are nasty.

You're right they definitely have the size and experience up front on the O line, but so do we. I guess what I'm trying to get at is I think our DT's are key. I think we have more depth up front on the D line than they do. We will be more fresh throughout the game and I'll take our O line and RBs against anybody this year.

Bend don't break. We pull away in the the 2nd half and beat them by 17-21 pts.

Until we see how Fournette's 1st year turns out, you have to give Wisky the advantage at RB. IMO, OL is a push. I'm not sure how good Wisky's pass blocking is, but they can definitely run block.

I think Bain will be very, very good. When the coaches were asked about young players, Bain was a name that came up often as a player who will be a factor. I wouldn't be surprised if he passes up Thomas at the other DT position. IMO, Bain seems like he has a build similar to Bennie Logan. I'm very excited about these young DL.

Yeah. He is dangerous. He averaged almost 10 ypc. That's why I don't know why some Tiger fans would give the RB advantage to us. Until Fournette suits up, you have to give Wisky the advantage.

You make a valid point for sure. Other than Gordon who do they have at RB I'm curious( not being a smart arse). If Fournette is as good as he's hyped up to be I have to give us the advantage their. Magee has proven himself and Hilliard is hard to stop in the red zone. I guess I'm just an LSU homer haha.

This is a game to see how the new O-line coach has changed this offense. Men pushing men around is the key to everything.

It should also be mentioned that Wisconsin won't be a finesse team like Oregon. They will act like we do when the opponent can't stop us running the ball down its throat. Wisconsin will run it down ours.

I don't know why so many of our fans seem to think that this is a walkover opponent. Wisconsin will not be intimidated by us at all.

I only compared Wisky to Oregon because both teams are top 15 programs. Wisky is definitely a different style of team than Oregon.
