Oh, boy. Think the SEC Network is going to provide fodder for The Rant?

Meh. Title is misleading. Greg McElroy, a biased Gumptard, said that. The article says the opposite.

An argument could be made that Dinardo is responsible for LSU's success.

That McElroy sure was successful in the NFL as a result of Saban.

That's where I stopped. Don't need to hear any gumps opinion.

people that disagree with that, are just people that blindly hate Saban.
Posted on 6/27/14 at 12:59 pm to rumproast
Does McElroy attribute his failure to Saban?

Just get this shite off of this board.

Former Alabama quarterback and current SEC Network analyst Greg McElroy said Nick Saban should be credited with LSU’s ongoing success.
McElroy spoke yesterday to our good friend Bo Mattingly, host of ‘SportsTalk with Bo Mattingly’, via 247Sports, and he expounded on this, well, funny notion.
“If you look at LSU, they’ve had sustained success since Saban left because he established that mindset,” McElroy said. “Les Miles obviously did take over that program and has done a terrific job in his own right, but once you establish that mindset and have the leadership that holds young players accountable, that success shouldn’t soon dwindle.”
McElroy couldn’t be more wrong. Once Saban’s recruits and signees were gone – and really once Saban announced he was leaving for the Miami Dolphins, the team developed Les Miles’ mindset and identified with his persona.
LSU was successful while Saban coached at LSU. However, Saban did not revive the program, and the program is not successful now because of Saban.

thats ok, joey harrington and drew brees are responsible for alabama's current success.

When he takes those cock-flavored lollipops out of his mouth to speak, he says the most 'Alabama derp' shite.
Also, Bear Bryant is responsible for Alabama's success. Legendary coaches raise the profile of a school long-term.
I'm glad we have the homeless man's Andy Dalton to Captain the Good Ship Obvious.

I'll show you how to tell this is biased and completely ignorant....
Would he give Saban credit if LSU lost 4 games this year?

LSU's long term success has been a collective effort involving thousands of people. Hell, I'm partly responsible for having gone to games, paid tuition and fees and generally been supportive. McElroy hasn't intentionally done any of the the things that have added to LSU's success, so he's not someone whose opinion I care about.
