I am not sure on searching the PDF with search function... I plan to just get the PDF (WAY cheaper than the hard copy) and if there is an issue with using the CTRL + F on the test, I will just print out the chapters we are focusing on and tabbing each section so its easier to see.
Since we are allowed to use notes, I am sure we can use CTRL + F... I think the whole proctor thing is new to this course since the latest update from LSUS so it looks like we may be guinea pigs on this one. These are all my assumptions however.

I regret not doubling up on MADM 760. To me that was the easiest class in the entire course. I made over a 100%
Meeks was my professor

I certainly think this is a do-able pair.

I went ahead and signed up for MADM 760. Thanks to all for the feedback. Meeks seems to be a well-liked professor.

Have you also taken MADM720? If so, which would you recommend most, that or MADM752? I am registered for 752, but am concerned about these Mindtap quizzes..

Ok, so what's the deal with the textbook for MADM 760? I see it's available on Amazon for $16.95. Should I just buy it there or is there a PDF version floating around?
Also, can someone please email me a copy of the MADM 760 syllabus? It may not be until tomorrow that the class shows up in my Moodle account and I want to start looking everything over now. socal77@gmail.com

I started looking at the material for FIN 710 and got a quick question. Does his test mainly test on computations or concepts? After reading through Chapter 1 it seems like he really focuses on formulas. Any insight from FIN 710 veterans?

Here is a link that may or may not be helpful to people when deciding on what class to take, especially if you plan on doubling up. LINK
This shows the 2016 year percentages of each core class including MBA classes and what percent of students got an A,B, or C and what percent got a D,F or dropped the class.

Thank you robbie022491! This makes me less nervous about the class, being that our final grade is based off exams.

I wish I would have known wolfpack714. I paid $43 to rent the etext. :(

Thanks for the link Rocky. That FIN 710 number is scary.

For those of you who are taking MADM760 with Meeks, just know that it is hands down the easiest class in the program. It's also, in my opinion, one of the better classes. I felt like I really learned a lot. The book was easy to read since it was a PDF &, to me, it didn't feel like it had a lot of "filler", the materials got straight to the point & provided great examples.
Now for those who are taking it next, please let me know what textbook is required this time around. If it's the same as the one we used then I already have it & will gladly email it to you. When I took his course the authors gave Meeks permission to give it to us for free. I have no problem doing the same.
The version that I have is "Mastering Strategic Management" by Dave Ketchen & Jeremy Short

Roanoke, thanks for the info on 760 and the offer to share the book. For this session, he's posted the book you mentioned right in Moodle for us to download for free.

My suggestion is to get an MBA whenever you can. It may be ideal to have some work experience but throw in a spouse and a couple of kids and it is no longer ideal from a time consumption standpoint. Just my opinion.

Curious, would any lsus online grads mind talking about their post grad experience?
Sample questions:
Was it worth it, class difficulty, any connections, did it open any doors etc.

good info roanoke
I'm starting my first session on Monday by taking ECON 705 with Shaughnessy doubled with MADM 760 with Meeks. Nervous and anxious about the workload and getting back into the rhythm of school assignments, writing, etc. It's been a little while since and it will take me some time to get back into the groove.
Good luck to all.
