If this gun is for self defense and not just plinking you need tovreconsider. your purchase.
Theres no way i would ever put my SOs life at risk by trusting a hi pernt.
You have to trust a SD fire arm
110%.
Did you read anything besides the brand of the gun? It didnt jam until after 40ish rounds. I only had $200 to spend, and I wasnt buying a Cobra.

Yes i read it all.
What if the next time it jams is when your SO needs that round
to defend herself.
I wiuld start saving some money and find something else.
Find a cheap revolver that will go bang every time.

I've never had any of my handguns "jam". I've had some ammo that my guns didn't like that didn't load so smoothly when I racked the slide, but I've never had one fail to reload after a shot.
I always shoot a few boxes of self defense rounds through my handguns to see if there are any issues before using them for self defense. Any issues and I won't use that ammo. You are escalating the situation to a life and death scenario when you pull your weapon and at 2 failures per 50 rounds, you now have a 4% chance of bringing a useless chunk of metal to a gun fight. Add in the fact that it's not exactly easy to shoot a handgun in a high stress situation accurately, and you realize you are adding more chance of a bad result to an already dangerous situation.
Guns are fun to shoot, and I shoot the cheapest crap ammo I can find when plinking, but there's a reason people take self defense shooting very seriously.
