My 3 grandsons (5,4 & 2) are coming to visit and I want to get a gaming system to keep them occupied and that I would use afterwards.

I would appreciate any advice/comparison between the XBox and PS or any other suggestions that you might have.

Thanks.

Wii U. Make sure to pick up Mario Kart 8 with it. They'll be calling you the best grandfather ever.

Xbox One is more of a "mature" gamers device. They make games that are aimed towards people that are mature enough to handle the content.

In all seriousness, the Nintendo Wii U. You can buy it "bundled" with a game called "The Mario Karts 8". I believe that's correct. It's a can't-miss item for all the youngsters this summer.

Thread has to be a troll. You come in looking for a console for kids 5 and below and don't even mention the WiiU?

Why don't you do what my grandpa did to me as a youngster, and make them pick the fruits of his garden and mow grass. It'll build character.

If they're under 5, certainly a Wii-U. Don't blindly discount Nintendo over X-Box and PS.
