The Knicks, Blazers, Kings and Pelicans are among the teams trying to acquire picks in this year's draft, according to league sources.
Kennedy is one of the better NBA guys so this has some legs

43rd pick for a 2017 2nd round pick

A lot of 2nd rounds picks for sale considering half of them belong to 3 teams

I wonder if Philly is willing to trade back that #10 overall...

Well the thing about giving up future picks is this: How many players is that team away from becoming a legit team?
In other words, if you only have a serious need at 1 position and could get a guy that you want at that spot... giving up a future pick isnt a bad idea. If you have a team where you have serious needs at multiple spots, it might be a bad idea.
The way I see it, we already have our franchise player in AD who has a shot to be an all time great. We already have a really good young PG in Holiday. We have got a versatile player that can play the 1,2, or 3 in Tyreke and he really came on hot in the last month once Monty figured out how to use him. And we have our sharp shooter / mismatch in Anderson.
We are a 3 and a 5 away from being a really really good team. If we can address 1 of those needs in this draft by giving up a future pick, Im all for it. The 5 position is such a crapshoot in the draft IMO. I would rather address the 5 in FA if possible. I would take a proven player in the NBA at the 5 position over a 18-19 year old draft pick that played 1 year in college.
And I would love it if we are able to somehow dish Gordon and get anything in return.
