This is a shame, I was actually looking forward to having some sort of challenge in the NFC South this season. Atl has no defense, Carolina has nobody to catch balls, TB will be depressed all year because they have horrible uniforms.

Definitely a loss for ATL. No sugar coating it. Sucks but injuries are a part of the game.

It sucks to lose him but don't sleep on ATL's young LB core. Also TB will pose a threat for the NFC South. It'll be closer than you want between ATL, TB and NO.

What's so scary about this "young LB core?"

No one ever said anything was scary. I said "don't sleep on them". Anyways, the injury sucks. Already a bad offseason to be a ILB for ATL and DAL.

I agree Tampa will be a challenge, but I have a hard time seeing us not sweeping you guys this year. Your lack of pass rush, lack of FS, and now the loss of 'Spoon is going to be too much to over come.

Yea, for about the 4th year in a row, very uncertain about pass rush. On a positive note for ATL, it can't get any more non-existent than it was last year... so there's that.

I see an 8-9 win season for ATL. Another injury or 2 to a starter though and it'll be a repeat of last year. However, let's not sweep the "minor procedures" that NO players have had lately under the rug as well.

Well I just don't really know any of them outside of Weatherspoon and Dent.

I'm looking at your roster now, and holy crap, all the linebackers are either rookies or have a year or two of experience. That's nuts.
