The only reason you had a good season 2 years ago was because Dykes put together a JUCO all-star team so that he can ride them out of Ruston as soon as possible. Congratulations. What USA is doing with their program is much more respectable.

I wasn't even trying to compare South AL. to La Tech.
our basketball team wasn't very good this year. We had one real good player but that was about it.
Football? Well, I wouldn't have imagined that we would have won 6 games at the beginning of last year and I'm sure no one else would have either.
it was only our 2nd year in FBS.

I have zero problems with USA, I just about lost my mind when he tried to take the athletic program there over Tech.
He's just trolling. Y'all's football program is off to a great start though.

It's no coincidence that soon after establishing the RCAF, the quality of head coach candidates for both the football and men's basketball programs rose. We've also been able to keep Hud, so far, from packing his bags and moving out of town for the first hint of a new job.
It may not sound like a big deal for a BCS school, but for us to be able to raise enough private donations to layer his contract with around $1 million between salary and incentives was HUGE for us.

Based on this post and previous ones, it's obvious you're just looking at your football success 2 years ago, as well as a basketball run you guys made.
I'm talking about an entire athletic program. Not just the ones Tech conveniently performed well in recently. I personally just see a lot more upside in USA than Tech. So much so that if realignment doesn't happen sooner than later, I could see USA being taken over us down the road.

It's a damn conundrum watching that shite. On the one hand I look at those flop haired Ole Piss figs and wish them terrible luck and death by chlamydia. Then I look behind home plate and see LOUISIANA and want to puke then call in an air strike to level Acadiana with napalm. I'm not mad though.

Football and Basketball are the money makers. It's not conveniently picked. Outside of Lafayette nobody gives a frick about Softball. Baseball is a money maker at some schools but not many other schools.
That leaves football and basketball. By the way it's not just one run. 2012, Tech made the WAC championship in basketball. 2013, Tech was ranked in the top 25 in basketball and beat Florida State on the road in the NIT.
Other than being envious that CUSA picked Tech over ULL, you have no reason to even compare USA and LA Tech.

I had a conversation with a coworker today about the game tonite and he told me I was wrong to not pull for y'all. State schools trump all other and frick ole piss was his view point. I called him a moran. But yea, inebriated is going to be the only way to watch tonite.
