Awesome. It's always a hard decision for these kids to make the best decision for themselves.
LSU - better track record of developing NFL talent
LSU - Better career opportunities in home state after Football if don't make NFL
LSU - Plays tons of freshman every year along with Texas A&M
Bama - Offers 250-500 scholarships per recruiting cycle
Bama - "Dismisses" more scholarship players who don't play than any other NCAA team. Which is why they sign 30+ a year and never top the 85 mark. Sign em all and tell them they will all play then cut the ones who aren't good enough to start. Awesome motto!
Bama - Has more 4-5 start recruits riding pine than any NCAA team

So how many former LSU players are working in petroleum? I'm not quite understanding how LSU's connections in oil and gas have anything to do with this decision.

My boss in Houston on my Last 2 projects was LSU alum. The one before that was Texas A&M. Also the fact that LSU has the most players on rosters in the NFL slightly above USC and 16 more that Alabama makes it a logical and morally ethical decision to stay home.

Dude way too much personal info. Nobody, especially Charlot, cares what the three big schools in O&G are. Go tell that to AP kids in high school.

Back to Charlot... This one gonna drag out until the end?

Oil and Gas bullshite

Is this another post about how local Louisiana business will black ball a La 17 year old for going to Alabama?

If so (because imnot going to read it) that is complete bullshite and sound like something a bama fan would say......you know, threatening a 17 year old's future employment.

Did you not learn from last year's recruiting debacle where grown men that follow 17 year olds went to absolute shite?

Some of these kids may want to leave their home state, but grown men like you suggesting that their employment is in danger is possibly the best way to get them to say, "frick this, I'm out".

Dumbest thing I've ever read.

I'll just leave it at that and not say another word.
