Well we got rid of "that guy" too so I guess they didn't think he was that special either
Yeah, because the situation is exactly the same.

Lorenzo Neal had a real surprising long TD run back in like '93 @ ATL.

it was one of those were he ran up the gut and appeared to be stopped after like 2 yards.

but he kept his feet moving and all of a sudden broke out the pack and ran like 60-70 yards for a TD.

Can't believe he outran everybody. For a guy who made a career as a road grading fullback, I'd imagine that was the best run he ever had.

Saints won that game too.

Sharper's pick 6 against Philly in '09 (promise I'm not picking on them). Game was over and it was just cherry, but I was greedy and wanted another score so badly. That was fun to watch.

I remember another Lorenzo Neal td. It was some dump off pass to the right side. It must have taken him forever to get in the endzone.

I think most thought the play was over. He just came out of nowhere.

Me too. My pops and I were crossing the causeway listening to it on radio, I was like 12 and we were sure it was mistaken identity

That one would be tops in the win column.

the loss column was painful but funny... I mean what the hell else are you going to do?

i was sad when the browns won on that hail mary in 1999. but i also remember laughing when i saw the picture of Ditka laying on the turf liked some beached whale in the papers the next day.

That whole period of Saints football is such a blur. I really can't remember too many specifics until someone brings it up.

Yup. I was in the endzone directly behind that play. My best friend and I screamed like girls when that happened. I may have cried a little.
