If you're in BR contact the LSU vet school - they may be able to help you out. Maybe not going in there and getting it but what to do with it afterwards. They might find a home for it.

As I said, I'm not a hawk expert like you. A simple "hawks don't build nests close to the ground" would have sufficed.
