I just wanted to say how dumb ESPN is and why the frick can't they do like other stations that broadcast sporting events and put on the closest regional baseball game near you. I know during the NCAA tournament it use to be this way. Now it is on 5 different channels or something on cable TV so its easy to watch whichever game you want.

The big part that is pissing me off is what makes Texas/Texas A&M deserve the ESPN2 or ESPNU slot? It should be broadcasted in the regional viewing area. For instance if we got a California game instead to view that wouldnt make sense because we could careless about whats going on out West, when we have to work out tails off to watch our closest regional game on ESPN3....

I just think its dumb and ESPN should take more thought into some of the ways they broadcast their games to make it easier on their viewing audience. They will attract more viewers this way and can get onboard with the technology of the current era.

off my soapbox...

What's really stupid is ESPN choosing to show the "Rice" Regional exclusively on ESPNU, considering all the games Texas plays are being shown on the Longhorn Network too. They should have just put that Regional on the Longhorn Network to avoid having the same thing on 2 channels.

I'm more surprised that the two dumbasses in the booth have jobs than the regional being online only, honestly.

We just have to accept the fact that there just isn't a big enough draw in college baseball. Don't get me wrong, I know WE are PASSIONATE about it, but the majority of the country just doesn't care.

Trust me, if ESPN thought it would make them money, they'd be showing it.

The coverage has been the best it's ever been and Bases Loaded is absolutely amazing. Anyone who relies on the cable providers to watch regionals anymore is stuck in the past.

It is very, very, very easy to get ESPN3 on your TV

I love espn's regional coverage FWIW.....every single game nationwide broadcast, what else can we ask for?

Espn doing an incredible job last year and this year with NCAA tourney coverage. ZERO complaints from me.

And the BasesLoaded channel is like crack cocaine for me.

Uhh... I'm pretty sure ESPN3 and Bases Loaded is smack in the middle of "technology of the current era"

I do feel somewhat bad for older people that may not have a computer / high speed internet. As in, elderly people.

I do think the NCAA/ESPN (who is behind this, don't get mad at SEC/LSU who had no say here) could offer the regional feed to the local area via syndication. Even if it's just to the local cable companies.

This, along with SEC Network online, is going to result in a lot more games being broadcast, however, it is being broadcast online. If you have older family/friends, now is the time to convince them to get a high speed internet connection, and a Roku.

I have never liked this because I'm being forced to watch what they think I want to watch. All regional coverage should be available in some format, whether on tv or streaming no matter where I live and breathe. Which, by the way, is what ESPN is doing.

I have enjoyed it since I have direct tv I wouldn't have been able to watch it if it were on COX. I only get the internet for baseball season for geauxzone and espn3. After the season is over I will probably cancel it since I am on it at work or on my phone when I need it so t's not that big of a deal to me. Another plus is the xbox app so I can have both ULL and LSU games split screen or easily switch during commercial breaks to the other game. No complaints here. I guess it sucks if your internet provider doesn't provide espn3

They have to bring in the most viewers, which Texas/Texas A&M will, to make their advertisers happy?
