Jamal Peters best choice for Safety?

I know we are #2 for McFadden. After watching Peters I think he has a lot more upside to him. I can see him as a All American in purple and gold... He will be a straight clock cleaner when he gets to around 220-225 at that height. And he will gain another 20 lbs in the next year or two. Can you imagine a super sized laron landry. Or a second coming of chad jones..
This is your guy then!

Peters is a beast, but it's hard to convince Bassfield kids to leave the state.

Recruiting at the highest level isn't like ordering whatever you want off of Amazon and it just shows up at your door on signing day.
I'm sure they would take Jamal Peters if it were that simple.

Fwiw, His mom is very impressed with LSU and how hard the coaching staff works. Seems we are putting in the time and effort. May not work out for us, but we are definitely in the running.

There is no such thing as a super sized Laron. He's a beast.

He's my top choice for Safety. Kid is a stud. And has only played football since high school. He was a basketball guy. He's got everything you need to be a great defender. Size, speed, strength, physicality, etc. Gonna be a stud. And we are def in the mix for him.

He's very close to the ms schools but peters is the real deal. I was interested in peters before Jamal Adams. Hope the staff stays on him.

I think it's hilarious that every kid that favors LSU over another is always the one who has more upside.

Peters could be All-World at OLB.
CJ Moseley was 6'2" 240. This kid could easily hold 240/250 on his frame and still be scary fast and athletic for a LB. If he's 6'3" 200 before his senior year in HS he will add more weight guaranteed.
We can all dream though

Peters has recently said LSU has passed State and is now up there with FSU as his top school. He was also wearing LSU gear heading to a national 7on7 event.

Yeah, it seems like we actually have a good shot with him, but will have to pry him from Miss schools. He is THE safety for us over everybody else imo, after watching his tape a few times. He could be the best OLB we've ever had if he wanted.
I've only read the first page, but i don't see us getting Peters and I was surprised that we still have a decent shot with him after we became a high contender at the event last month. I thought he was all but Mississippi.

Would love to seem moved to LB if we land McFadden. We will have a loaded secondary with white, Robinson, Jamal, Paris, Battle, Xavier Lewis and Kevin Tolliver

Peters has had my attention for a while now. I'll say JP regardless of who goes where.
