i am planning essentially the same type of trip for our honey moon in 2015, i have an itinerary all but finished for a trip to 2 spots in costa rica

Had friends stay at cap Maison. They enjoyed it. They split it between there and Laderra. You are picking spots away from the Pitons. I'd recommend the other side of the island for scenery.
