I mean I can understand asking him to take down the tweet and tweet something like "I'm sorry." All of this other shite is way over the top.

Pouncey made a tweet joking about hazing a rookie and this is all the Dolphins had to say:

quote:

"We talked with Mike, and Mike understands that sometimes things can be taken out of context," he said. "What's meant as a light-hearted comment can be taken out of context. We talked with Mike and he was good with that and understands social media is a great tool to reach our fans for the positive. But you have to make good choices with that."

Wow, a sports team is treating a star with kid gloves and making an example out of a marginal one?

That doesn't seem very fair.

Just pointed it out because some people where using the Martin/Icogonito issue as an excuse for Miami's actions when a tweet that people actually saw and relates to that issue was addressed with a slap on the wrist.

It was horrible. Not necessarily because it was two men. More so because they were making out putting cake on each other and then licking it off. That was very disturbing and I really didn't care to see all that.

On another note, if watching a heterosexual couple make out and stuff was to make Sam uncomfortable, would anybody care or make a deal out of it. I seriously doubt it

Something unusual happened.

But if you react to the unusual thing as if it's unusual, you are a bigot who must be punished.

What a world we live in.

They pretty much already did. See the episode, "The Death Camp of Tolerance". This is life imitating art.

2 guys licked cake off each other during the NFL draft. If those two heroes make you uncomfortable then you are the scum of the earth.

I honestly never thought I'd see the pussification get this intense.

Yeah, I always thought they needed to come up with a less ominous phrase than "educational training".

Well said.

This is ridiculous. I'd heard someone got in hot water over the kissing thing, but didn't realize it was for such minimalistic language

i don't see how he makes the team anyway.

the Rams front seven isn't a weakness at all.

maybe he'll find a niche as a special teams player...

Did I watch a different video? I saw a quick kiss and a hug. Then Sam rubbed cake in his bf's face and gave him another quick kiss.

Seems to be one of those fish tales that get bigger and bigger with each story.

This pisses me off. The PC is way out of control in this country. We're witnessing Anerica being a place where being the thought police is totally ok.

I would gain a ton of respect for Michael Sam if he came out and said this fine and suspension is bull shite and we are not and should not be the thought police. But he won't do it and milk this instead.
