Everything I read it sounds like he was a WR in college, but if he gained much weight he would move to TE.

Yeah, that's right. He was projected a TE in the NFL due to his size and slow 40 time.

Nope. Came into Hofstra weighing a whopping 195. Played the X - Split end... Missed 2004 season due to a shoulder injury, came back in '05 weighing 230...

Blame ESPN and fantasy for the TE thing... he got listed as TE his first year with the Saints... and never again. I don't think he was ever listed on even a pre-season roster as a TE. Always a WR.

and, he played at the East West Shrine Game, not the Senior Bowl.
