Would love to know what happened with him. He had all the tools, the size, speed, everything. He goes from a 5 star all-everything, to being a mediocre college player who leaves early and doesn't get drafted at all.

He definitely should have come back. Very strange.

Leave college early for free agent money. He better work his arse off now if he Want to be rich. It ain't no free ride in the nfl.

Welp, this didn't go as he had planned.

This is probably not the best time, but. . . I told y. . . nevermind. Good luck to him.

Better landing spot for Freak than Jarvis

why ....? tannehill is a very good up and coming qb , imo he is better than cam , Wilson , rg3,and kapernick ...... Jarvis will be just fine ....

He did not have great speed (5.24s at the combine). I thought he'd run sub 5.0 because the story on him was he was a physical freak that didn't have sound technique. The regular criticism from Detillier was he didn't learn to use his hands.

In reality, he's very avg physically with poor technique. Wish him the best.

Very troubling to see players leaving early and not get drafted at all.

Ummm....no. Good thing you aren't an NFL scout or you'd be looking for work often. Wilson and Kapernick are two of the most efficient QBS in the NFL. Cam and RG3 are super dynamic playmakers and both have already made the playoffs.

The bright side is that LSU coaches can point to it as an example as why marginal players should stay another year. When NFL roster cuts come down to keeping a drafted player or an UFA....they tend to stick with the guy that they made an investment in. Most UFA's only get one chance...maybe two.

The fact that two people agreed with you is even worse. Dude never did anything bad here. We never heard about any problems and in the middle of the social media generation, that's saying something. I hope he can get healthy and prove himself in the league.

Unreal that with all that talent and hype he doesn't get drafted. Something is going on there.

FIFY. You knew that's what you wanted to say even though it's the farthest from being right at all. Cam and Wilson have not only accomplished more, but have better stats. RG3 had a way better first year than Tannehill and Andrew Luck.

Agreed with everything you said until the last part. Luck set the NFL record for rookie passing yards and single handedly took that team from garbage to the playoffs. RG3 was sensational too, and accomplished much of the same, but to say he was way better is definitely a stretch.

Anthony "Freak" Johnson to Miami Dolphins

Really, at some point, the whole "freak" moniker needs to be done away with. He didn't come CLOSE to living up to that nickname. When I first saw him on the field, I thought, "this guy is just gonna end up stupid good". Then, he never got better.

To be fair, RG3 also took a garbage team to the playoffs. RG3 may have had less passing yards, but passing yards don't mean much when you throw nearly 50 times a game like Luck does. RG3 was dramatically more efficient, and his touchdown to interception ratio was insane. Those are both much better measurements than passing yards.

Morris was just as big of a reason for the Redskins' turnaround as RG3.

I don't disagree...but did you finish reading that post?
