Martin is still on the board and is the most likely choice where we currently stand. However, if Matthews is there, should we go WR-WR and take him in the 2nd? His size/speed combo is very nice, and he could be a great compliment to Cooks.

Now here are some interesting options. What about packaging one of our 5ths and moving up to grab Roby? Better yet, what about moving up for Lee? There are still a few stud DE/OLB targets out there too. I think at this point, trading to the top of the 2nd would be a nice move to land any of these fellas.

My ideal scenerio? Either trade up for Ealy or stay put and hope Martin or Matthews fall to us, which is likely. No matter what, tomorrow will be very interesting.

ETA: Roby taken after I posted this. Scratch him lol

Would some of you want to trade our 4th and pair of 5ths for a 3rd?

Marin is still on the board

But yeah, Martin almost certainly won't make it to our pick. I would like Baptiste, Richburg, Van Noy, or Demarcus Lawrence.

I know they are different types of receivers, but we absolutely cannot take Matthews at 58. Unless we are willing to cut Colston after this season. Or trade Jimmy. And we're not. We'll take BPA or trade back into the 3rd.

I wouldn't trade up again, keep the rest of our picks. But if Matthews is there I would sure as hell take him.

Honestly in a deep draft I say they go BPA between corner, LB and perhaps a highly rated center/guard

Walterfootball did his mock redraft based on last night's events. In his view, Martin will last to our pick, and we will take him.

Interesting to note that he has Jax taking Van Noy quite high, Lawrence going midway to Det, McGill 2 spots ahead of us to SF with Gaines and the others behind us. Strangely he does not value Ealy as high as many of us did on these boards, for he has Denver taking him at the end of the round. It does seem that we will have much talent still around, and one of our (that's ST "our") targeted fellers will be there.

I still would love to get Matthews if he is there at our 2nd pick; however, if he is there along with Ealy and Martin, then one of those other ones would most likely have to be the choice.

Another option would be to hopefully trade back some to gain more late round picks that we could use to move back into the 3rd. I would be good with having 2 third round picks this draft rather than have 1 second. The more I think of it, I would prefer it. It seems there is a huge jumble of players at this point between rounds 2-3 that are all mashed together. Why not get 2 out of there rather than just 1?

This isn't like the Cooks v Rest of WR though. Cooks is viewed as elite, so you always go elite instead of settling for very good.
