If I left any potential targets off of the list, let me know.
If anyone is interested, I can keep the thread updated throughout the offseason. Mark out who has signed elsewhere, update with rumors, etc.

I like the potential possibilities here.
I think most of the others will be tough sells. Will honestly depend on who ends up where in FA.

What area are you thinking? Uptown? Garden District? Maybe Lakeview?

I would add Kris Humphries and Andray Blatche to the list of FA center prospects. Blatche has been a barely ok rebounder this year, but last year he was decent. Humphries has always been a good rebounder and both of them have spent a decent amount of time playing center this year without fouling a ton. Adequate Defense and Rebounding are the 2 key traits I'm looking for in our "starting" big.

I think it's fine to have on the list of possibilities, but Boozer isn't really a potential swap for Gordon, he's competition in the Dump Market. Chicago seems to have 2 primary targets for the offseason, Melo or bringing over Nikola Mirotic from Europe. Both moves require getting Boozer off the books. They have the amnesty option, and they have multiple 1sts this year to help them dump Boozer.

You'd have to think he's most concerned with a pimp arse master bath that has an awesome jacuzzi for his knee.

No way Ariza and Okafor come back to us. Burned those bridges.

I would add Jordan Hamilton (SF- RFA) and Greg Smith (C) to the list. Both are bench guys with holes, but young.
Boozer is a terrible fit. Monty made it clear he wants a true c and Davis a pf. There is no way he works with Davis and Anderson given Monty's philosophy. $30M in 3 players the coach doesn't want to play together sounds very familiar......

I would add Toronto to the Home for Gordon list. They won't be a FA destination anytime soon thanks to snow and taxes and they have some expensive, little used guys on expirings that would actually be more productively used with Gordon. Seeing Demar Derozan trying to win the game the other night with a 3 pointer made me They need another scorer.
Toronto
- Landry Fields - $6.2 million expiring ($8.5 million due to him, was a poison pill) that played in just 30 games this season. Fields showed a lot of potential as a rookie and just fell off the map after that. Could be a good reclamation project.
- Chuck Hayes - $6 million expiring bench big. Undersized and overpaid but a career plus rebounder who might be a good stop gap "starting" center.

I might add OKC to the list of Gordon homes if they get knocked out in the first round by the Grizz. They will be on the clock with Durant and go into "Win Now" mode just like every other franchise has done to try and keep their franchise player happy. They do have Reggie Jackson and Jeremy Lamb, but Gordon's 3 point shooting (and spacing ability) is better, and his per 36 scoring numbers are better, which might make a difference if they lose a series where there were 4 over time games. If they don't make the Finals this year or next the MELOdrama begins. I wouldn't put them at the top of the list, but I think it's more likely to happen than the big market teams. The obvious trade here would be Perkins for Gordon.

Trevor Ariza is having the time of his life as the starting small forward of the Washington Wizards. Ariza will be a free agent beginning on July 1 and was asked if he wants to re-sign with the Wizards.
“I don’t know. It would be nice to come back here, but again, who knows what’s going to happen,” said Ariza told The Washington Post. “That’s not ... I don’t have to. Wherever I’m wanted. Whoever wants me on their team, I guess."
The Wizards will likely offer Ariza a new contract, however with Martell Webster and Otto Porter Jr. on the roster, the team won't break the bank to retain him. There reportedly have been rumors Ariza is hoping to be closer to home in Southern California, but that just seems to be speculation at this time.
Ariza, a 10-year NBA veteran, averaged 14.4 points, (40.7 percent on three-point attempts), 6.2 rebounds and 2.5 assists this season. In the first round series against Chicago he averaged 15.6 points, 8.6 rebounds and 2.2 assists.
It sounds like he's open to playing elsewhere, but they seem to think he's targeting the West Coast. What a surprise
