I walk exactly four. I walk an hour and a half every morning and it is exactly 6 miles.

Always 1.

I'm pretty tall so I already have a long stride, but I walk pretty damn fast on top of that. Pretty much a speed walk.

If I save 5 minutes a day for 50 years walking just a little faster than everyone else, that's 1520 hours, or 63 days, that I can spend doing whatever I'm walking towards. I'll take the trade. I like walking fast.

I pick em up and put em down. My dates always get on me for walking too fast, I'm trying to work on it.

When I'm by myself, however, a crowded sidewalk might as well be a slalom course.

1) Lead, follow, or get the hell out of my way: You have a mission and walk with a purpose. Everyone else seems to be moving in slow motion.

2) Zippidy doo da: Casually unconcerned, no particular place to go or hurry to get there.

3) Just one of the pack: You adjust your speed to the speed everyone else is walking.

4) Gimme a Beat: it's more about style points and your strut, looking cool and suave.

5) Daydreamer: Always finding yourself in the way.

6) Perfect: Anyone walking faster than me is insane. Anyone slower than me is a dumbass that needs to move.

That's great. My pace has gone up considerably fast. I should top out at 4 within a month or so. Walk every evening for an hour. I will make my goal 6 in 1.5 hours.

That is like me. Slow people in airports or other places make me want to scream at them to get out of my way.

You have to walk a lot each day if walking a little faster saves you 5 minutes.

This one and it has to be a serious emergency for me to change pace. It's my personality, I'm never in a hurry. I'm 6'3" and I have no problem maintaining this pace.
