LSU was loaded with future pro rbs. The best thing that Anthony could have done was get out of state to get away from all negative local influences. Plus he was absolutely born to play in the Big Ten as a monster back with speed.

Baby was a man among boys in 2A still I think he would have been too soft to dominate at a consistent level as an OL in the SEC much less the NFL

In his defense at least this time he had a 4th year scholarship QB on the roster in rivers. The second and first year QBs are just better I guess so he left. We could have had two shitty young guys and let rivers start

Kevin Faulk, Rondell Mealey, and Cecil Collins were already on the team, and LSU signed Tommy Banks the same recruiting class that he was in. I didn't keep up with recruiting then, but I have family from Winnfield and they said LSU never really recruited him. I would say that was mistake on their part, but Lebrandon Toefield and Dominick Davis were not far behind that class too. Unbelievably unreal talent at RB in Louisiana back then.

I saw Dunn and Carey in high school. It wasn't fair. I'm not even sure if Dunn was tackled in the game I saw. Carey ran like he was 250 lbs up the middle...he was awesome.

tyrone vaughn was one of the best i've ever seen and a guy whom i think doesn't get credit was holly wilson a rb from west jefferson that went tamu in the mid 70's

Played against Garry James too. He was incredible. At that time, Ehret, in their third year of existence, won state. Then a couple more...lot of talent on the WB of Jefferson Parish back then.

RP was a generational talent...much like your son. 50 years from now, when the historians are looking at the true, transcendent talents from the State of Louisiana, I think RP, Leonard Fournette and your boy, will rank at the very top of the list.
I saw RP in the playoffs his senior year literally make other really good, collegiate level players look like little boys.
If you could place his body and talent around Russell Wilson's mind and character, you would have had the best football player to walk planet earth.

I definitely wouldn't say the assessment is to far off.
I wasn't even highshool yet when he played but I'm going show my age a little and throw Corey Buie's name out there. He carried Buras to back to back dome appearances and won one of them. He could take over a game by himself. He owned Peyton Manning at Newman and Peyton even said that Corey was the best player he saw in highschool.
