You realize that almost all of these issues you are talking about are expensive because of the government.

Medical care - government intervention
College tuition - government intervention

And the list goes on. Anything that involves the government paying for something ultimately skews the price for everyone.

They find "problems" to fix and then state how they need to fix the problems that they created.

In all honesty though, if you want to cut to the actual heart of the matter and make everything cheaper as far as medical care is concerned, figure out how to get all the lazy, fat, gross, unhealthy pieces of shite in this country to quit being lazy, fat, gross, and unhealthy pieces of shite.

Now, that would be after you dig through all the fed bullshite first.

Good luck.

The government is absolutely to blame. Who voted for the laws, regs and deficit spending that is demolishing your purchasing power and opportunities as we speak?

Clearly you're correct about citizens needing to take blame too, but remember, Obamacare was forced down our throats by politicians. It has NEVER had popular support.

They aren't expensive because of the government.. they are expensive because wealthy people think they deserve more

I'll give you an example.. I almost started a business making a fruit slicer for bars, restaurants, etc.. that I designed.. I showed it to this guy that owns a pretty big business in our area... He's the make it snow guy.. if you see fake snow in a a movie or at disney world his company made it.

Here's a link to their site LINK

He's a bit of an arse, but he knows his shite... and tries to help inventors... you know what he told me about my fruit slicer?

This is a really great idea, you should do it, I'll even help you make a prototype if you give me $1000 dollars, we could get them made in China for about $2 a piece and sell them for $100 dollars a piece. I might even do it, it's still not out there... But the outsourcing part is what you should pay attention to... "I can get them made for $2 a piece in China..."

or you can get them made for $12 here. Either way, do something.

I may have been wrong about you. I am starting to think you just like to bitch about things.

Last time I checked the government does what we inspire it to do.. Otherwise, they don't get a job... I'm not saying the government is doing what you want it to do.. but it's doing what someone wants it to do.

if I ever started this business I would have them made here.. and I would pay people well for making them... my point is alot of others don't.. and they outsource... and it's a big part of our problem... Greed on every level

And I'm confused. This makes all fruit slicers expensive how? Are there no cheaper fruit slicers? Are they all $100? Should they all be $2?

This makes zero sense. How does wealthy people, a smaller subset of the population than poor people, affect prices so extensively?

Let's look at a different example. I used to work for a tool company that shipped and sold all of those crappy tools you see for sale in gas stations. That business is a multimillion dollar business.

By your explanation, that shouldn't be the case.

Maybe I'm not understanding your argument. Explain it better.

Hold on. Are bitching about rich people because they have more influence on government than the rest of us? Is that where you are going with this terribly worded tirade of yours?

Dude, there is a reason that is. It's called government.

People like you who sit on the sidelines are a bigger problem than outsourcing. That rich guy is still creating wealth for himself, his employees and everyone he spends money with. So he outsources manu? That's still better than doing nothing but TALKING about making things here and flirting with government assistance. You are even the problem in your own hypotheticals.

The fruit slicers idea I was designing and talking about was something that would be used on a "industrial grade" level.. you know like one that restaurants use. They pay out the arse for those things.. $100 bucks for an industrial grade tomato slicer is pretty cheap... but I could buy it (or at least it's parts) from China for about $2... and then I can sell it for $100 to restaurants in the US or even worldwide... Why can't I (or don't I) buy it, or at least it's parts from a U.S. company?

Do you understand how much the cost of education is influenced by fed loans?

If students didn't have ready access to loans that they can barely repay, the market would reflect a much, much lower price.

But since the govt is involved, the money flows freely.

Dude, you can. No one is stopping you. If you have issues with overseas businesses paying their workers less, don't use them. You can get them made in the states and you could even sell them for the same price as those made in China, but your profits will be lower.

And on top of that, government regulations are the reason the price difference is so large.

That is how the game works. The goal is to make a profit. Period.

You want to serve some noble ideal of supporting people here, more power to you, but realize it has a price. It always has. Noble ideals always come with a price.

this is absolutely hysterical... I'm literally asking for nothing, other than not being charged for something I don't receive... yet I'm being called a pussy that got in a rut and wants more than I should. All I want is to be left the frick alone... but if I get hit by a car or someone shoots me... someone is gonna call the police and I'm gonna get an ambulance ride and some medical treatment I can't afford.. before I even know what took place.

You haven't been checking much then. Is there some sort of public clamoring for domestic spying or intimidating journalists I didn't know about?

Or showing up on a mans grazing land with automatic weapons to collect his grazing fee, or slaughter his cattle if not paid at gunpoint

That's my whole point scruffy, I can do that, I would do that.. most other people wouldn't and don't... that's why there are no jobs here for a lot of people.. cause the ones that can make jobs for people here outsource it to people overseas. And the smart ones "engineers" are to lazy, greedy, or not smart enough to design a good product here... and even if they did, their company would need to want to have it made here.. so that a quality product that was designed in the US, made in the US, and sold at a cheap price in the US sat on the counter at Walmart...

So youre saying its cheaper to manufacture items in a country where THEIR GOVT doesn't mandate a minimum wage?

And you still say govt isn't the problem?
