Liverpool. I appreciate that their board gave Rodgers the autonomy and the time to build something he believed in, especially because it turned out to be an entertaining style. They're one of the few PL teams that I enjoy watching no matter who they're playing.

You guys win, we finish 4th and knock Everton out of the UCL. We win the FA Cup, good guys take the season.

This sounds like an ideal scenario.

i harbor no ill will towards Liverpool. one of my best friends is a pool fan and he will most likely cry if they win.

I did convince another friend the other day that I want Chelsea to win because they've spent enough money to deserve a title. being a city fan, it wasn't too hard to convince him that I actually believed this.

Not that much lately. They are in it b/c they have the best manager in the league hands down.

Gonna have to disagree with you there. They were negative 45 million pounds in the transfer market including the late Mata mega-deal, which was not a deal they needed to get in order to fund the purchases they made four months prior.

And they were negative 80 million pounds the year before. Any time a team can buy Hazard and Oscar in the same year, they are big spenders.

True, you're aren't spending 150 million pounds and then 140 million pounds back to back like ten years ago, but lets not pretend you're not in the top two of the league in spending.

Most accomplished? Check.

I am 99% certain that if he took over Liverpool two years ago, we wouldn't be leading the league right now.

There are one or two that, given a couple of more years, will likely challenge his status as "best" (not that he'll still be at Chelsea by then) - and from teams with much less financial resources. BR (of course, since I'm a Liverpool fan) and I'm very interested to see what happens with Martinez.

Is there anything sadder than two cities fighting to see who gets to be little brother?

You probably would have won it last year.

I am 100% sure Brendan Rodgers wouldn't have won the CL with Porto and Inter.
