The Commander's dishes look great. Were they good?

We had a lot of different things at Peche. Loved everything but the catfish with pickled greens and chili broth. Loved the greens and broth but mushy fried catfish in a bowl is not my thing. I'll report in more detail sometime next week.

Something else I noticed in Peche was that most of the guys eating in there were short. It was strange. They'd get up from the table or bar and be short. I passed two on the way back from the ladies' room...short. I'm not tall so it wasn't that, but the Short People song kept playing in my head. Maybe it was because the maître d had legs that went up to the ceiling.
