Our Army may be stretched, but our Navy and Air Force are not.

Our Navy and Air Force alone could obliterate a conventional military.

Agreed.

'Merica needs a list of who to bomb first. Since Europe doesn't care about Ukraine, that's #1. What's the target though? Moscow? Very doable cuz Putin gunna run scared. Will de-annex immediately. Then since China doesn't care about about No.Korea to do any good, that's next bro. Then maybe Iran, dem bitches crazeee.

I guess him not starting a war to cover his ineptitude and lack of spine is something we should be thankful for.

If W had lacked the spine to back up all his Iraq bluster - "he tried to kill my daddy" - this country would be a lot better off.

I like it.

Let's just launch the nukes and end it all. Preemptively strike everything. Just get the end games over with.

In a way, Ukraine is to Russia what Cuba was to the U.S. In 1962, we were willing to wage all-out war over Cuba, and the Soviets weren't, which is why they backed down. Similarly, Russia is a lot more willing to go to war over Ukraine than we are, which is why Obama won't intervene. We should be thankful that Obama values America's blood and treasure more than W did.

What Obama said was correct, Russia doesn't want and couldn't win a war with us.

As much as I hate too, I have to agree with him.

Russia doesn't want war, but knows we don't either. so they are gonna flex nuts because we just don't want to deal with that shite right now, and shouldn't have to.

I just cant force myself to care.

There is just zero chance that we will go to war with Russia. MAD has essentially rendered full blown armed conflict between world superpowers a thing of the past.

But the reverse is also true - the U.S. doesn't want and couldn't win a war with Russia. Reagan and Gorbachev already went through this, so why are Obama and Putin trying to reinvent the wheel?

I think we could push them out of Crimea, but then would we just stay there forever fighting them off?

Its hard to beat a country with nukes.

I'm just flabbergasted that people still think like this.

This isn't 1945, wars between superpowers aren't fought like this anymore. Under no scenario would we ever be marching American ground troops into fricking Russia
