Jax, I'm also half Scottish. I'm glad to see you posting again. Sounds like you encountered some serious pussies. I lived in Memphis when Tyson fought Lewis, and those Lymies could fricking drink. It was impressive. They spent all day at the Fox & Hound drinking Guinness and watching soccer before the fight. Never skipped a beat. Great bunch of guys.

Oh, I have run into these guys several times and they are great guys. Something about those Irish accents just makes every joke funnier. They had the bar singing along to Irish music.
I just can't believe they are so inflexible with their beer choices. You have to realize that Guinness basically has the same alcohol content as Bud Light. When I was at LSU, almost nobody drank Guinness, and we all thought it was a "strong" beer. Not the case.

Cuban was closed. Bet-R was closed. And I just wasn't driving to Albertsons with my dog in the car.
So my only option was what I could get at the CVS across the street from home.
There was actually no cold Sauv Blanc at all in the store. Only 3 brands on the shelf.

Ha, yeah they drank Guinness all day and I assumed it was some kind of serious beer. That explains why they were semi coherent when Lennox knocked Tyson the frick out.

LL, don't defend yourself. You don't need to. We all drink “meh" things from time to time because circumstances dictate it. It's all in good fun.
