The word around here is that it was over a girl. Not confirming anything though.

Pretty sure that's correct, peej. Smalling was getting abused by GTs DE, and Winey came in the 2nd half on a bum leg/knee and helped turn that game around with Rohan.

Brandon Winey was drafted in 6th round in 2001. Hasn't played on NFL since 2004. What the hell is he doing hanging around with current college players?

It's not rare for former players to interact with current guys. Also, Winey & Jones are from the same area. We know this situation involved a women. Which is never a good thing.
