It is simply amazing how an anonymous sign-on on a football board can have had such an epic effect on so many people's lives. Los Angeles Tiger and I certainly had our share of entertaining conversations. But the man seems to of been pretty incredible outside of this board for most of you guys.
I for one will miss his posts. Anytime I saw him post here it was like the bat signal of a thread that was guaranteed to entertain and challenge.
For those of you whose lives he was involved in, it seems like each and every one of you was better for it.

Hope he got to see some video of the Tiger Band in Dublin.
They did him proud.
They did him proud.

RIP LAT. I have rarely visited this board over the last few years but remember him and always read his posts even if we disagreed. He was a good one.
Exactly. I had a reason to realize that a few years ago. There is nothing in life more valuable that your time and what you do with it. As Tom Robbins said - it's never too late to have a happy childhood. Go out and chase the things you've always wanted to do. You'll never regret it.

Paying my respects to a great poster. I agreed with a lot of what he said, but even if you didn't, his passion was inspirational and aspirational. Rest in peace, good sir, and welcome home.

I can't find anything online about his obituary or funeral. Does anyone know anything?

Add me to the 'free owlie' list.

Owlvis, the classy move by Chicken to let you post in this thread was matched by your heartfelt post.
I know exactly how you feel about not tracking Charley down over here or by email. I cannot tell you how many times I saw that LAT was online and I thought about jumping into a thread just to say "hi" and then thought, "I'll catch him later". I certainly regret that now.

Rob...you just had to know him to appreciate him.
But classy of you.
The world is a little bit darker, now. Very few people can light it up like LAT did.
OWLFAN...very heartfelt and dignified. You know very well that Charley would have cherished reading that.
