Here are our passing leaders.

Perhaps we should have a minimum start requirement.

among the ones that were the #1 starter for an entire season-

Cuozzo 1967
Hargett 1971
Bobby Douglass 1976 (injury to Manning)
Richard Todd 1984
Billy Joe Tolliver 1998-99

QBs that belong in the discussion but were probably before (most of) your time:

Gary Cuozzo--Johnny Unitas' backup, Saints traded first pick in draft for him, pick became Bubba Smith

Ed Hargett--QB between Kilmer and Manning

Bobby Scott--Manning's backup, started several games

Bobby Douglass--Hank Stram got him from Chicago when Archie was injured in 1976, BIG mistake, he was terrible

AND OF COURSE

Guido Merkens--on general principle

That list could go on forever. Neither Wilson should be on that list. The teams they played with were terrible along with every other QB that more than likely is on that list. I agree with the Mike Buck as well.

Man, does anyone have a screen shot of Danny W helmet getting spun around. Damn, he most have thought he had his head ripped off

I was curious so I checked his stats, how the hell did we go 4-5 with him starting and throwing only 2 TDs with 14 INTs?

I had such high hopes for him. I thought he was gonna be the next Mike Vick. Idk if his best NFL moment is getting run over by the titans mascot or lining up under the guard. So yea, I was wrong.

How to know how bad a NFL franchise has been without looking at W-L record?

When naming top 5 best (even top 3 in Saints case) quarterbacks in franchise history is much easier than naming top 5 worst quarterbacks in franchise history.

Would rather talk about the ones with over 17 starts

1 Drew Brees current
2 Archie Manning 1981-
3 Aaron Brooks 2000-
4 Bobby Hebert 1985-
5 Jim Everett 1994
6 Billy Kilmer 1967
7 Dave Wilson 1981
8 Steve Walsh 1990
9 Ken Stabler 1982
10 Billy Joe Tolliver 1999
11 Bobby Scott 1973
12 Ed Hargett 1969
13 Wade Wilson 1993
14 Richard Todd 1984
15 John Fourcade 1987
23 Todd Bouman 2003

That's a definitive list of the worst. There were others who came close to making my list but these guys had what it took to catapult themselves to the top of the list.

I don't think there's a need to rank them in any order because, in my mind, each one deserves the # 1 spot...it's a dead heat!

I would add Bobby to the list. Not because I really think he was one of the 5 worst QBs, but out of fan hatred.

If we would have had just a decent QB in those days, imagine the possibilities. Plus he held out and we still brought him back.

You have to cut them some slack. They were back up type QBs who did the best with the little talent they had.

Wasn't that bad. That team was just awful.

I had such high hopes for him. I thought he just needed a shot after Washington. I was wrong. So very wrong.

Poor kid. I'm pretty sure he never took a regular season snap though.

The worst, absolute worst, Saints quarterback I've ever seen. It's like they got me to play QB. He was so out of his league.

Kerry Collins was the opposite of the Billy Joe's. He didn't even try when he was here. But, he was still the bright spot for those six or eight games he started. He was better than anything else we had recently had.

Came into the thread thinking "Aaron Brooks" because of all the moments.

Then seeing the list of our sad history, he's not even worth mentioning.
