Yea. It was a bad call. But to say that it is an example of the league making sure we would win is just so ridiculous.
No, it's not. It happened and y'all benefited from it greatly.

Was it the leagues fault for the spurs shitty second half in game 5?
No, but it was their fault on a pivotal call.

Cool. And the lakers are like 2nd or 3rd in winning percentage and have more titles, conference titles, and head to head playoff victories. I think that wins

When I log on at work tomorrow morning I expect you two to still be going at it

No, it's not. It happened and y'all benefited from it greatly
quote:so just so I have this right. You are saying the only reason we won in 2008 was because the league cheated for us?
No, but it was their fault on a pivotal call

Yes, because y'all tend to benefit from more calls than get screwed over by them

That's the only reason y'all squeaked past us in a pivotal game in our series. I'm not commenting on the Finals that year because frankly I didn't give a shite

So, 1st or 2nd losers in that department

Nope, currency wins. We've been over this

This war between the Sultans of the West will never truly end. We just standoff like North and South Korea

Yes, because y'all tend to benefit from more calls than get screwed over by them
quote:of course not. Because if we did talk about that final, you would see how stupid it is to insinuate the league makes sure we win

Not when there are examples. To imply otherwise is homer delusion bullshite.

Yes the league would like to see us win
My point.

No, Boston was just better than y'all. Y'all couldn't keep it close enough for the league to help you

Like current conference titles and scoreboard?
Nope

Tim Donahue (sp check?) says different. Obviously the Lakers won't benefit EVERY call then no one would watch. They do get more calls than most and they get away with most too.

I can tell you're having fun with this. Not too sure about him yet.

quote:and every example is just that. 2002? Yea game 6 is shady but the kings had game 4 and they blew it, and game 7 and they blew it. 2000? Seriously? The league didn't do shite. The blazers went like 1/15 from the field in the 4th quarter. 2010? Really? We are just going to ignor Kobe getting murked in Boston in that series and forfet about the 08 finals? 2008? Cmon, it was a missed call but no other action from that series suggested anything shady was going on
Not when there are examples
quote:just like they would like to see a Kobe/lebron final. I wonder why they didn't force that matchup if they do it so often
My point

The Spurs are gonna win it all this year but that Suns/Clips game was some bullshite!!! The Suns were winning by like 20!
Posted on 4/3/14 at 12:39 am to theducks
quote:right. Donahue forced the kings to blow games 4 and 7 and let's just forget the kings shot more FTs in the series than we did
Tim Donahue (sp check?) says different.

Wasn't there a ref who came out and said some of the games were staged and betted on? Another (or the same) said they hated AI and tried their best to make him lose?
If I remember that correctly, then it is highly likely that Stern would ensure LA wins some championships.
On a side note, what is Lebron's record when joey Crawford is officiating?
