Good, I know nothing about this movie, and just saw this pic thinking the Redditor added the nose and lips...
I had no idea this franchise was still alive. Is it even remotely similar to what it once was in the 80s?

Yes, although the turtles have noses and lips, Shredder is white and the Foot aren't exactly ninjas, so in reality it is probably not even close. The tag team of Michael Bay and Megan Fox have once again destroyed an iconic 80's cartoon.
