An elite team would have punished their sloppy midfield today.

It is Melchiot!
Great goal from Pastore. Wonder if Zlatan will be ready in 6 days. Or Veratti.

I don't mean to say they suck or sound bitter but all of their goals were direct results of our shittiness, credit to Lavezzi and Pastore for good finishes but they should have never even had those opportunities.
Their midfield was sloppy all day giving the ball away in dangerous positions, we just don't have the quality, aside from Hazard, to make them pay. Real, Bayern, Barca, City, hell even Liverpool... would have made them pay dearly.

At this level no. Look at our attacking options vs. those of the other top teams. Hazard is the only one that would ever sniff the field for any of them. We are so poor we had to start the game without a f'ing striker. How is that even possible for a club with Chelsea's resources.
As pathetic as it is Eto'o returning fit may be our only hope to turn it around. Let that sink in 39 year old Samuel Eto'o is our only potential savior.

Here's a little sibling rivalry from earlier today. My little brother's a PSG fan (mainly because of zlatan).
ETA: I changed his name to shithead primarily for anonimity's sake, but it's also fitting

They really weren't impressive at all, we were just dreadful in the back. A comedy of errors, so unlike us.
For all our faults defensive solidity is one thing we have always been able to count on. Shame really.
