Since the Seahawks need a WR, why don't we give them one to close out the 2nd round?
Donte Moncrief, 6-2, 221, Ole Miss
Donte Moncrief, 6-2, 221, Ole Miss
quote:
Moncrief's thick frame, deceptive speed and smooth route-running make him a nightmare for cornerbacks. He does not possess the explosive moves of Southern Cal's Marqise Lee or Clemson's Sammy Watkins but might be a better player than either of them. He is sudden in his breaks, showing the ability to generate separation even against tight man coverage, and accelerates quickly, often leaving defenders in his dust on double-moves. Moncrief tracks the ball well and generally shows excellent hands (one drop vs. Texas), as well as the body control to make the dazzling grab. Moncrief is also cognizant in the running game, showing awareness and toughness as a downfield blocker

Let's get moving

With the 65th pick in the 2014 NFL Draft the Houston Texans select...
Shayne Skov, LB, Stanford
The Texans second biggest need besides QB is probably ILB. Even with injury-riddled Cushing, there is hole at that spot and at the very least Skov could add some depth to that unit. He's an agressive playmaker and good against the run, which is one of the areas the Texans lacked at last year. I'll admit I kinda jumped the gun with the Yawin Smallwood pick because I wasnt sure if we'd get to a round 3, but if he was available he'd be the pcik for the Texans instead, giving them a very solid draft so far. Skov is a great second choice to have tho.

With the 66th pick in the MSB Draft powered by the TD.com Fantasy Board,
The Washington Redskins select....
Marcus Smith, Rush End from Louisville
The Redskins filled their first need at Safety in the 2nd round so they are going to help their Defensive Line with a player that knows how to get to the Quarterback. This is a good value pick as some mocks have him in the top 40 as well as a need based pick as they need help up front.

With the 67th pick, the Oakland Raiders select
Ego Ferguson, DT, LSU
The Raiders have focused exclusively on offense thus far by drafting Mike Evans and Carlos Hyde with their first two picks. Now they turn their attention to their aging and awful defense. They added Justin Tuck and LeMarr Woodley upfront, but they are still without a dominant defensive tackle. Ego was the second ranked DT on their draft board behind Timmy Jernigan.

You can change it as long as its not Ego. I'm sure Na Mean was pretty dead set on taking him anyways.

With the 68th pick of the MSB Mock Draft, the Atlanta Falcons select....
Terence Brooks, Safety from Florida State University.
The Falcons are in desperate need of help at Safety and we were pretty surprised that Brooks was still on the board this late in the draft. He is a little shorter than most NFL squads want but he's put together well and has excellent balance and burst to the ball. He's also a big physical safety who's not scared to lay the wood.

With the 69th pick of the MSB Mock Draft, the Tampa Bay Bucs select...
Martavis Bryant, WR, Clemson University
The Bucs are in need of some offensive help and Bryant provides a big, speedy WR. They traded Mike Williams and are looking for a replacement. Since they have addressed the OL they are looking to fill their needs at their second biggest weakness.

Yeah definitely. We just thought you didn't even know this existed.

sorry, who would it have been tho?
Posted on 4/15/14 at 11:43 am to PurpleDrank18
I was gonna take Gabe Jackson because Gruden seems to like big plodding OL types. But LB makes sense too.
