Mine always comes out a little "grainy". I can't get the smooth texture of the restaurant/store boughts.

Run it longer in the food processer, and maybe add a bit more liquid or olive oil.

I made my second batch last night. My first attempt had that grainy texture you mentioned. Last night I ground the chickpeas in stages and ran it longer. This seems to have solved my texture issues.
