There are 72 suites including A.D. and Visiting A.D. suites.

The seating chart with the gray overlay is from a very old schematic design and is no longer accurate.

Good to hear that the nutrition center will be going up soon as well.

Not sure what he means by "soon". That project has a lot more planning to do and those guys as well as the AD have a lot on their plates as is with SEZ, Tennis, Gymnastics, etc. But hell I'd love for the nutrition center to be built ASAP because that would be huge for recruiting and benefiting current athletes. Last I heard was they are looking at the old Alex Box site for that.

We've finally reached the saturation point.

I guarantee there will not be a suite and 150 club seats available come September. Those waiting lists are filled with people/businesses that have a higher ranking than I'll ever sniff. Far from "saturation point"

I thought it was going to be attached to the football IPF?

Yeah that was the initial choice but i remember hearing somewhere that old Box was a viable option. Or do they plan on letting that be a parking lot for a while? In that video they said nutrition center is for all athletes and not just football. Maybe it is political why it isn't connected to football ops then.

Or did i miss something and they are already doing site work over there?

Well the old Alex Box site is going to be at the center of the Nicholson Gateway development. I think it was mentioned in the Tiger Tracks video that they were still planning on having the nutrition center attached to the football ops building, but I'm not totally sure.

Here's what's planned for the old Alex Box site and surrounding area:

Well damn i must have heard wrong

Any idea when that Nich stuff is supposed to get started? I now remember reading about that stuff, supposedly a lot of retail. It'd be nice to draw more people to that side of campus

IWBRIT=I Will Be Right In This

I'm beyond confused now. We've now heard 65, 60, 68, 70, and now 66 from a TAF official on the air. The TAF guy, Rhett Butler...I'd slap my parents if I was him...was talking about the state of the SEZ as it is now. He said it would be topped off soon, they were on time, and they be working inside mostly from now on.

if I had to bet, I'd bet on 66 being the number of suites. He sounded very definite on that.

I have to tell you all, I'm somewhat miffed at the way both LSU and TAF has released information on this project. I don't appreciate being treated like a mushroom.

Especially when you contrast how LSU has released information with how both Texas A&M and Mississippi State have handled their projects. Although Mizzouri fans seem even more clueless as to the state of their expansion than we do. Mizzou fans aren't even sure if Faurot Field will have lights on both sides of the stadium.

LSU...I am disappoint.

I actually assumed IWBRIT stood for "it won't be ready in time" but wasn't entirely sure.

If 66 is the number he said, then this far into the project that must be the hard number they are selling. If other numbers have been discussed, maybe it was before they finalized designs on suite sizes... there are 70 suites on the East and you can tell they are different sizes.

Actually, you might be right in that. I was going from the context of what he posted.

Get over it. Lsu, the architect & the contractor are still in the planning stages of this project. They will figure it out eventually.
