Is Darren Sharper on the list? Can he be a write-in?

Hands Down it would be Aaron Brooks.

What did this Carl Smith guy do? I think that it must have been before my time.

it surprises me how shocked a lot of you is about Aaron being on the list.
i believe he should be. don't get me wrong, he did some good stuff for us and I applaud him for that, but his "Attitude" is what makes me have a very strong dislike for him.
it made me so angry when he would make a bad throw, a pick or some other stupid mistake and walk off the field smiling.

He was offensive coordinator for a while and he just sucked balls. It was like having Les Miles calling plays if that helps explain him.

I was 8 the last year that he was OC. My dad told me stuff about the offense then. He blamed it on offensive talent. How much stuff do you remember from when you were 8?
ETA: Even with the explanation above, it doesn't seem like he did anything to "hate" the guy. I don't hate people for not performing as well as I think they should.

It was just the guy all the way around man. Everybody hated him while he was here, some players included. He was that guy that every year everyone was hoping they would fire but they just kept keeping him and his stupid orange fro.

Only one person to put on that list, John Mecom. He is the reason so many of us had to suffer for so many years.

I guess I could see that. Like I could see how people hate Ditka for doing something so stupid like trading away the entire draft for Ricky. That was more than a screw up. That was gross negligence.

Yeah I see we kept him around for like 10 or 11 years and I stopped watching a bit between 10 and 15(94-99) years old probably due to his shittiness.
I just remember my dad and older brother just wishing we could get into FG range. My how times have changed.

Not a legit list without Johnnie Poe and Dave Waymer

I am old enough to remember it all.
Every important game was like LSU/Alabama 2 years ago. One first down away from greatness, you don't even try to get it--the other team gets the ball back and walks down the field and scores.
I can't tell you the number of times we had the 49ers beat--frickING BEAT--and we couldn't get one lousy freaking first down to run out the clock and they came back and beat us. Other opponents too.
The Saints were so good on defense, the offense did enough to get a decent lead, and then the Saints would try to run the clock out halfway through the third quarter.
I fricking LOATHE Carl Smith.
