Most complete / balanced rosters in the NBA

Who are your most complete and balanced teams in the NBA? Meaning who has the best and most balanced roster, and gets quality production from all positions on the floor.
2 of the best teams in the NBA, Heat and OKC, arent that balanced. Not saying that makes them a worse team or anything like that. Its just what they do. And when you have the stars that they do, I would do it too.
This is who I think are the most complete teams in the NBA:
1. The Pacers are the most complete and balanced team in the NBA. Starting 5 of Hill, Stephenson, Paul George, West, and Hibbert is about as balanced as you can get. The only weak spot compared to the other 4 is the PG spot. And George Hill is a serviceable PG. Its not like hes horrible. But, the other 4 guys are some of the best at their positions. And then bench players of Scola, Turner, Watson, Mahinmi, and Copeland are solid as well.
2. The Classic Spurs. Starting 5 of Parker, Belli / Green, Kawhi, Duncan and Splitter and having Manu and Diaw off the bench is a complete squad as well. And you have Pop as the coach. This time is and always has been a well oiled machine with 0 ego and play together the best in the game. 1 of the few teams that rely on an offensive system / scheme rather than just 1v1 bball.
3. Clippers. CP3, Crawford, Barnes, Griffin, and Jordan are nasty as well. Its a really good squad. And then you have bench guys like Collison, Granger, Big Baby Davis, Dudley, Hedo, etc. And they would be even better if Redick could ever stay healthy.
4. Warriors. Curry, Thompson, Iggy, David Lee, and Bogut is a damn strong lineup. And then the bench players of Barnes, O'Neal, Speights, Crawford, Steve Blake, and Green adds to that team as well. But have also been a disappointment IMO. Just not winning as many games as I thought they would this year. I considered them a contender before the season started, now they could be a pretender. They could also get hot at the right moment and beat anyone in the league. They are a tough team to figure out at times. A conundrum.
5. Blazers. Starting 5 of Lillard, Matthews, Batum, Aldridge, and Lopez. Solid production across the board. They dont have a great bench though. Mo Williams is their best bench player. And they rely heavily on Lillard and Aldridge for offensive production. They need to get Batum more shoots and he needs to be more aggressive. Hes only shooting 9 shots per game, 4th on the team behind Lillard, Aldrige, and Matthews. A player of Batums caliber needs to be a key player in the offense, not just a role player. And thats how hes been this year. If Portland wants to make a run at the Finals, they need Batum to become more aggressive on the offensive end. IMO, hes the key to the Blazers post season success.
6. Houston also has 1 of the more balanced lineups in the game. Starting 5 of Lin / Beverly, Harden, Parsons, T. Jones, and Dwight is a balanced squad. Bench players are good too. Asik,Casspi, Motiejunas, and Garcia are good as well. Like the Blazers, they rely on 2 guys for most of it in Harden and Dwight. And they should because those guys are awesome. And I think Parsons is 1 of the better SFs in the game. Offensive production from guys other than Harden and Howard is going to be huge for them in the post season. Parsons is going to be a huge factor for them. And having Asik to back up Dwight is a luxury that no other team has.
7. Wizards. Weird, I know. But I think they are 1 of the most balanced teams in the NBA. Starting 5 of Wall, Beal, Ariza, Nene, and Gortat is a very balanced squad that is just starting to come into its own. Beal isnt there yet, but by this time next year he will be. Hes still averaging like 17ppg, with a lot of room to grow in the future. Its scary how good this back court could be in 2 years or so. And you have bench players like Miller, Webster, and Booker as well. It just took John Wall, the catalyst, a few seasons to figure it out. Now that he has, this team has been a lot better. Ariza is also having his best year in the NBA by far and is 1 of the best SFs in the NBA this year. Career high in points, rebs, 3pts and %s. And ties his career high in steals. I think the Wizards are a better team than people realize.
Im sure other posters disagree with some I have on / off the list. And will get laughed at for having the Wizards, . But i stand by my list. Who do you think are the most complete squads in the NBA right now?

Considering Tayshaun Prince has like the lowest PER among starters in the NBA, you can leave us out
I would argue we have one of the better benches in the league though now that everyone is healthy.
I agree with your list and you aren't reaching at all with the Wizards. That backcourt is extremely good and Ariza has been lighting it up from 3 lately. The John Wall/Gortat pick and roll can be deadly.
The Spurs should be #1 though. They have the best record in the league and have been dealing with injuries all year.

I agree with most of this. It's not like we don't want Batum taking shots, we do, it's he's such a passive basketball player and lately, he's been trying to get the flashy pass. In the Houston flopshow, Batum had like 7 turnovers. I remember back to back fast breaks where he just passed the ball to the opposing team. I agree that he is critical. Both offensively and defensively to our success. I'd love for Lillard to call his number more too. It's hard though when the refs foul you out on flops.

What I recall from our game about a month ago was them shifting Batum over to guard Conley because he was killing Lillard. Do y'all do this a lot?
Conley is still a step slow from his ankle injury, so we have been doing the same with Tony Allen often picking up the opposing team's ball handler. I like having a guy like that hound the ball handler because it can really mess with the flow of the other team's offense.

No one would have believed it going into the year, but once PHX gets Bledsoe back this week...our starting 5 is nothing to laugh at. And our bench isn't awful. I'm not saying we should be ahead of anyone on your list by any means, just saying we ended up being a lot more balanced than anyone could have guessed.
Bledsoe/Dragic/Green/Markieff/Plumlee
And I feel like the Clippers HAVE to be the most complete team in the NBA, they have star power all over their starting 5 and their bench is incredibly deep.

I'm not sure I trust these teams too much in the playoffs. Both seem to be too reliant on jump-shooting.

Yep. As much as I love Lillard and his work ethic, I have nothing good to say about his defense, especially on screens. His post D is better but there's not many post PGs in the league. Batum has always been our PG stopper though. Now he almost has to guard the PG, not so much as an option like it once was.

You know I love the Grizz RTR
But the lack of production from the 2 and 3 guards make it hard for me to call them complete. Yeah Prince and Tony Allen are awesome defenders. But the lack of offense from those 2 spots makes it hard for me to put them on the list. That said, they are perfect fits for the Grizz.
And I had a hard time picking between the Spurs and Pacers for #1. I just think when you compare each position with the 2 teams, Pacers come out on top by just a little bit. PGs: Parker > Hill. SGs: Stephenson > Green / Belli. SFs: George > Kawhi. PFs: Duncan > West(but West is a solid player). Cs: Hibbert > Splitter. But at the same time, Pop is the best in the league. Its a toss up.
And in regards to Phoenix, even with Bledsoe, i still dont think they are 1 of the most complete teams in the NBA. If we are doing a list on the top teams with the best PG, SG, and SF, they would be on there. But its about a complete team. Frye and Plumlee dont make Phoenix 1 of the most complete and balanced teams in the NBA.
And tigers32, I agree with that as well. Which is why I said I would like to see the Blazers get Batum involved more / become more aggressive. But with the Warriors, when you have Curry and Thompson out there youre going to live and die by the jumper and 3. You have no choice with that. They are arguably the 2 best shooters in the game today. But I would like to see Iggy getting more opportunities and driving to the rack. He only averages like 7 attempts per game. Like Batum, a player of his caliber needs more attempts than that. That would help them a lot. And Lee is getting his touches. Right around 15 shots per game.

Pacers are far from the most balanced team.
They are 20th in offense and 1st in defense.
Portland is basically the exact opposite.
They are 2nd in offense and 24th in defense
THat's literally the exact OPPOSITE of balance.
The Spurs are like 6th in both offense and defense
The Heat are like 8th in both offense and defense.
That is balance.

Courtney Lee is the starting 2. Tony Allen is coming off the bench, but I wouldn't be surprised to see him take Tayshaun's starting spot soon.
The Courtney Lee trade is one of sneakiest best moves so far in the league. He is great 3 & D guy and is flirting with making the 50-40-90 club. He is averaging a career high 12.6 points a game.
Oh and Tony Allen has been awesome on the offensive end since coming back from injury. He is shooting like 60%

Dude... did you even read the 1st 2 sentences of my post?
Nothing to do with offensive and D efficiency. And ill edit the title just for you.
And yeah I agree the trade for Lee has been awesome. And hes been solid all year. But still, Lee isnt going to make them 1 of the most complete teams in the game
The trio of Conley, ZBo, and Marc could be the best PG and post players in the league. Along with the Clipps in CP, Griffin, and Jordan. And remember the other day when we were talking about rivalries and what not? It just hit me why that rivalry is 1of the best in the game (still behind Heat/ Bulls though ). But its because of the matchups with the trios. They are complete opposite of each other. Floor general, defense, and workman like attitude of Conley vs the big name / flashy CP3. The flashy dunks and big name of Griffin vs the physical, bruising, mid range game of ZBo. And the leaper with no outside game in Jordan vs Gasol who is a great passer, has great moves either way, and lives 18ft away. And the 2 cities of LA and Memphis are complete opposite as well. Its awesome how much these teams really clash all across the board. Individually, team wise, attitude, scheme, and city. All are complete opposite of each other

He was a damn good player in Orlando. Sometimes fit matters a lot with NBA players.

They aren't outrageous numbers but we don't need them to be. We just need him to knock down some 3's and keep doing it efficiently.
