A question can be worded and the answer interpreted to mean anything you want it to mean
They don't define the ages of the older people that were polled, but if it's over a certain age then it's a sure bet the vast majority will be old women who will be more liberal and more easily influenced by the crap aired by local and national news media
The two biggest users of skewed polling are our sitting president and Bill Clinton. Small wonder
