Looks like it will be an episode with an unrelated murder. Should be interesting.

How do you know?

Without spoilers if possible

ETA: I didn't realize the Rosemary remake was going to be a TV series. I thought it was going to be a movie.

Is that what was going on?
I had difficulty figuring why that was relevant.

Man, this Margot is a lot hotter than what the book apparently envisioned.

It's interesting that they're introducing characters from the movie Hannibal since that was the last one chronologically.

My favorite part of this week's episode was Hannibal petting the sheep.

yeah, apparently, fuller is going a different route with the margot character, due to some issues he had with the characterization in the book...he speaks about last night's episode here:

Lots of SOtL references last night.

-Hannibal petting the lamb
-The bird inside the victim was a starling
-The conversation between Hannibal and Will at the end had a lot of lines taken from some thoughts Hannibal had about Clarice in the books

Lots of funny moments, too.

"Is your social worker in that horse?"
"I brought the protein this time."
Hannibal's face when the social worker crawled out of the horse and then "I'd go back in there if I were you".

Am I the only one who watches Hannibal with closed captioning?

Mikkelsen is a great thespian, but he's pretty hard to understand.

I've always wondered. Why is it called closed captioning?

Is a viewer supposed to know who she is or just pick up her story right there in that scene? If in that scene, it was a bit confusing. I basically got some chick tried killing her brother out of that scene and that was it. But it came across like we should be very familiar with her.

yeah, when she was shown the first time it was a bit confusing...i knew that the vergers were going to appear at some point this season, and i suspected it was her then based on the context...then hannibal called her margot a little later.

S2E9 Shiizakana

The BAU team look into the case of a truck driver's body that appears to have been torn apart by two different animal species. Will meets Hannibal's strange new patient after one of his sessions. Determined to find Will's true self, Hannibal devises a test but the results surprise him.
